Anna Mentzer, Patient Coordinator
Hello, my name is Anna Mentzer. I grew up in Chicora, Pennsylvania. I am one of six siblings and my parents made sure we were at the dentist every 6 months, no matter what the weather. I was raised to take good care of my teeth. It has stuck with me and I have proudly passed it onto my 3 children and granddaughter. I even make sure my dog’s teeth are taken care of.
I have always wanted to go into the healthcare field and help people. I found my niche’ when I went back to school for dental assisting in Colorado Springs, CO in 2007. Most of my dental career has been in Oral Surgery. I was hired from my internship in Colorado. Being a military family, we then moved to upstate New York, here to Missouri, then Kentucky and finally back here where my husband retired. We decided to stay in Missouri. I transitioned to Patient Coordinator while still in Oral Surgery here in Missouri. In July of 2021 I joined the team at Moorkamp and Arthur Family Dentistry. Being with this team and what they stand for when it comes to dental health has been an easy transition.
Outside of work, you can find me with my family and friends. I like to hike, kayak, swim and enjoy bonfires. I enjoy cooking and baking as well with my family and playing with my dogs!
