Jaimie Scheel, Dental Assistant
Hello, my name is Jaimie Scheel, I grew up in Doolittle, Missouri. I am a 2016 graduate from Newburg High School. After graduation, I had wanted to go to college to become a Dental Hygienist, unfortunately there was no longer a hygiene program here in Rolla, MIssouri and moving away was not an option at the time. I started a banking job, where I worked my way up the line from a teller to a teller supervisor. After completing the challenge of becoming a teller supervisor I realized that career was not what I wanted to do forever. I needed something more rewarding! By this time, I had gotten married and started to consider my future more than ever, I knew dental was where I wanted to be. But I did not want to work for just any office, as I had no experience in the dental world. I wanted to work somewhere, where I could learn and grow as an individual and a valued team member. When I first interviewed at Moorkamp & Arthur Family Dentistry, I knew 100% this was the office where I wanted to work.
My dental family here at Moorkamp & Arthur Family Dentistry has helped me in building and shaping my experience since starting my career here with them in October of 2021. I love my job and getting to know each of my patients, building their trust, and working with them from start to finish is beyond rewarding.
Working side by side with our doctors who are willing to teach me and help me advance with courses for continued education is something that I value. I am preparing to take my Basic Skills certification to advance my learning and knowledge in the dental field.
