Drs. Charlie and Stephen attend Pankey Institute

Drs. Charlie Arthur and Stephen Moorkamp recently returned to Rolla, Missouri after completing the first course in the Essentials continuum at The Pankey Institute. The 4-day Essentials 1 course consists of over 40 hours of advanced technical, philosophical, and hands-on education for dentists. The courses in the Essentials continuum are designed with a focus on Aesthetic and Functional treatment planning.

Drs. Charlie and Stephen are excited to bring these new skills back to better serve their patients in Rolla, Missouri. Dr. William Moorkamp first attended The Pankey Institute in 1999 and completed the continuum in 2005. Drs. Charlie and Stephen have already committed to completing the continuum over the next few years with the next course taking place in January.

Founded in 1969, The Pankey Institute is a nonprofit educational organization in Key Biscayne, Florida, dedicated to helping dental professionals master advanced technical skills, improve behavioral skills, and nurture a positive philosophy towards life and practice. It was the first institute of its kind and remains among the most prestigious in the world, attracting dentists from more than 40 nations. I started seeing Bill Moorkamp about 15 years ago and fell in love with how he explained all the options I could choose... and his suggestions were always in your best interest that might not be the most expensive option. As time went on all of our kids became adults and lucky for him his son and son in law, Charlie Arthur took over my care. A few years ago I almost died with cancer and the chemo was particularly hard to n my teeth. I spent many thousands of dollars just trying to keep up. The other issue was my memory was /is in terrible shape so the office attendant, Anna Metternich kept me on tract by giving me reminder calls. Her help means the world to me. She definitely when above and beyond the expectations. She would call to make sure I hadn’t fallen or was in an accident. What a lady! The girls up from give the customer their first impression of your business. Luckily it seems that all the staff give off an err of happiness and professionalism. If I had it to spare I would at least give Anna an Extra dollar each day. Thank you to everyone for all that you do treat customer with dignity and respect.read more

I went in with a complete fear of the dentist! I had a toothache and they were able to get me in the next day! After my... consult they were able to fit me in that afternoon for a root canal to save my tooth! I was TERRIFIED and almost canceled my appointment, but I didn’t. For my entire life, I have always dreaded going to the dentist, until today. I can honestly say this is the 1st time I... didn’t suffer through the shots to numb my gums/teeth. Best office around. I drive from St. Robert because their care is worth the extra mile.
