We practice “Health-Centered” Dentistry. This type of dentistry is dedicated to achieving optimum health and optimum repair of oral health system. A thorough examination with Dr. Moorkamp is completed and goal setting is instituted to create a MASTER PLAN that has the goal of maximum protection and preservation of the oral health complex. Crucial to the continuation of optimum health and good daily oral hygiene habits are a strict regime of professional examinations and cleanings to prevent decay and gum disease.
There are certainly other types of Dental practices that are available to you: Maintenance Dentistry, Repair-Oriented Only Dentistry, and Emergency Reactive Dentistry, however those types of practices do not consider the whole person and the whole mouth wellness approach that leads to “Health-Centered” Dentistry. We conscientiously chose “Health-Centered” Dentistry as our approach to your dental care.
